Dr. Brandon Rensch is a highly trained and experienced dentist who brings both technical excellence and genuine warmth to every patient interaction. He founded Connection Dentistry because he believes outstanding dental care isn’t just about teeth—it’s about people, relationships, confidence and comfort.
Training & Credentials
Dr. Rensch is originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he completed his studies in Medical Biology at the University of South Dakota—graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon completion of his studied he went on to receive advanced training in oral surgery and oral and dental implant rehabilitation surgery.
Dr. Rensch understand that innovations in medicine and dentistry continue to advance at a rapid rate. Since entering private practice, Dr. Rensch continues to invest in the most advanced technology and constantly pursues advanced training and education to stay up to date with the most modern advances and practices in dentistry.
- Advanced training in oral surgery and dental implant placement
- Comprehensive certification and experience in the full spectrum of in-office dental sedation including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation: ensuring relaxed, anxiety-and-pain-free care even for the most nervous or complex patients
- Has completed thousands of hours of continuing education across the full scope of modern dentistry including root canal therapy, orthodontic alignment with clear aligners, TMJ dysfunction, full-mouth implant rehabilitation, cosmetic treatments, and simple and complex restorative care.
He holds active memberships in professional organizations that reflect his dedication to excellence: the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He holds fellowship status in both the International Dental Implant Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Rensch practices comprehensive full scope dentistry — from preventive check-ups, root canal therapy, fillings, crowns and orthodontic teeth alignment with clear aligners— to the most advanced solutions such as: full-mouth rehabilitation, dental implants for missing teeth, implant-supported dentures, and wisdom teeth removal.

After relocating from the midwest to North Carolina, Dr. Rensch fell in love with the “City of Oaks” and the welcoming spirit of Raleigh. He saw an opportunity to build a dental practice where patients are treated like family and friends — not just another appointment on the schedule. At Connection Dentistry, he and his team prioritize relationships, time-spent listening, and tailoring comprehensive holistic treatment uniquely to each patient.
Outside the Office
When he’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Rensch is likely to be found walking or playing with his dog, Potato, trying (sometimes succeeding!) to keep his golf ball on the fairway, or playing guitar.
